The Southern Africa Orphan Summit 2014 seeks to address the issue that a group of churches and community organizations, locally focused and united in purpose, can be hugely successful in bringing lasting change for children.
We believe the Body of Christ in Africa can help make this dream a reality. We seek to see that Summit will answer the call for Collective Action on International, Regional and Local level and be known for defending the cause of the fatherless in Adoption, Foster Care ,and Global Orphan Care Initiatives through Regional Summits, Orphan Sunday campaigns and Global Movements…James 1:27.
The Christian Alliance for Orphans’ CAFO2014 Summit inspires and equips Christians to care for orphans with wisdom-guided love. Now in its 10th year, CAFO2014 has become the national hub for what Christianity Today called, “the burgeoning Christian orphan care movement.” Last year’s conference drew 2,500 foster and adoptive parents, orphan advocates, pastors and leaders from 49 states and 25+ countries. Together, we explore effective foster care, adoption, family preservation and global orphan ministry.
